Hotel Florence

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in October. Everything about our stay was great. The pictures may seem like the hotel is a little outdated but in person it has a very classic Italian look to it. The rooms were nice with a nice clean washroom. The breakfast had a good selection. The location of this hotel can't be beat, as it's right in front of where the ferry dropped us of. The price was very reasonable as well. The staff at the front desk were always very helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to go to Bellagio.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. Was a little apprehensive considering some of the reviews but it was actually lovely. The hotel location is absolutely incredible. Literally metres away from the ferry port. The staff are very friendly, nice and helpful. The rooms are a little quirky but the bathrooms have been updated and the rooms are very warm and spacious. We had the most gorgeous view overlooking the lake which was the highlight. Breakfast was nice - again nothing fancy but good enough to set you up for the day. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit lake como again. Would recommend based on location, service and price

We really enjoyed our stay in Bellagio at the Hotel Florence. The decor was lovely and it was very quiet there. We also had a waterfront view of Lake Como, which was spectacular. The dining area was very pleasant, inside for breakfast, and outside by the lake for dinner. The food and service were excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a room with a balcony open on the front of the hotel and also to the side. Beautiful views. We went down to the bar ordered 2 drinks, took them up to our room, sat on the balcony and enjoyed watching the activities on the street and the lake (probably some of the best views in the area). Absolutely loved these rooms. Such character and immaculately clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We were looking forward to a great meal at this restaurant with our group of four friends. The food did not disappoint us, as we enjoyed a variety of dishes from the starter, first and second courses. The food was absolutely amazing, and we would recommend it to anyone who appreciates good cuisine. However, the service was a different story. The staff who served us were friendly and helpful, except for the team leader (with glasses) who was very unwelcoming and unprofessional. He refused to give us a table for four when I arrived alone, even though there were plenty of empty tables, including two near the water. We had to send the ladies in our group to ask for a table, and they got one without any problem. This team leader clearly needs some training in hospitality and customer relations, as well as a smile on his face. He made us feel discriminated and unwelcome. Because of him, we can only give this place three stars, despite the excellent food and the other staff. We hope that the management will address this issue and improve the service quality. Thank you to everyone else who made our last night in Bellagio memorable.

I am always a very patient and not a very demanding customer. I hate giving stuff back, I rarely complain and I never want to create any additional pressure for the usually very busy staff. But the hotel bar has got to have the worst service that I have ever come across. Very few customers but we still had to wait 30 minutes before our orders were taken and we got brought the wrong drinks twice. Additionally we were twice served bottled of water with something orange and sticky on the bottle.

It wasn’t by chance that I landed myself on a table by the lake. It was the first mesmerising sight that my eyes locked on as I disembarked from the Lake Como ferry and set foot in Bellagio. The garden of Hotel Florence is a beautiful dining spot that directly overlooks the lake with a superb view of the Alps. Just the perfect setting for lunch of afternoon drinks. My chosen elixir? A refreshing glass of mojito, perfectly complemented by the gentle sway of wisteria trees, the alps as my screensaver and the ethereal presence of seagulls flocking in the wind.
